Turn the key this morning and just a click. Soon as I release the key it clicks again. Sounds like the starter clicking. Batteries seem good. Lights and radio work. Won't turn over. Thoughts?

I kept cranking the key and it made connection. didn't sound like full cranking potential but it turned over enough to get it started. It's running and I am scared to turn it off. Do you think it's the starter contacts? If I were to replace the starter where should I get one? Cummins?

Starter Solenoid Contacts. Real easy fix.
Drop the starter, (3 10mm 12 point) and a couple bolts later, you're there.
Foster (do a search) on this site sells oversize contacts. If you absolutely can not wait, any shop that rebuilds starters will have them. Probably less than 10-15 bucks after tax.
Most likely, that is the problem.

Diagnostics first , find the problum do the fix then do mods [ upgraded contacts ] , the light & radio draw about 20 amps combined that is nothing, the starter draws about 250-600 depending on conditions, a lot of the do it yourselfer parts houses will do some testing for free, load test the batteries, starter , alt. while your doing those you'll also be looking for good and clean conections for all the large calbles between starter, battery and ground, the put a protective chemical on the connections after cleaning , if all these things are maintained all the parts will last longer.

Yep, ts your starter contacts. They are thick 1/4"+ contacts that if you take your starter apart you will see they are worn out. There are replacement contacts or replace your starter . I had to get a new starter at Napa while on a hunting trip.
