water in hyd tank
Need help guys . I have a customer that bought a tow truck from some guys in oregon. i am in arizona . they had a cap on a hydraulic tank that leaked water in to the tank . so i drained the system . and added 10 gallons of new oil and a filter. any advice to get it cleaner. any addittive i could put in it or is there any thing i can flush it with that wont hurt the system. removed about 4 gallons of water.system is still a little milky

As far as I know, about all you can do is change the oil a couple times. I've seen dump trucks with quite a bit of water in them that still worked OK, so I don't think it's critical, but change it another time and see what happens.
