valve adjustment broken bolt

ok well im doing a valve adjustment following the guide (one with the pics) and i loosen the lock nut, adjust the allen key and then go to tighten it back up and the lock nut breaks the bolt. i had the torque setting set to 18 lbs like it says. any ideas on what to do now? this seems really bad to me.
oh and it on the very first rocker (inj 1 intake)

its the rocker adjustment screw thats broken if it helps

You should be able to get the bolt(stud) out with an easy out, I would remove the rocker from the engine and remove the stud on the bench, then go to cummins and get a new stud.

I think you need to buy the entire rocker arm if I'm not mistaken.
