Unleaded Cummins! HELP!

Unleaded Cummins! HELP!
A friend just called and said on his way home his 2001 started pouring out white/blue smoke and had a huge loss of power but he managed to limp it home. He checked his fuel filter and said it was due for a change and did so, tried to restart it and it wouldn’t start.
Ran the lift pump and it is getting pressure, cracked the lines at the injectors and it is squirting fuel…..
After talking to him more I asked it he had just bought fuel. He said yes and I had him check his receipt.
Turns out he pumped in $20 worth of UNLEADED!
Tomorrow morning he is draining the fuel tank, lines and everything to the injector pump, refilling it with diesel and running new fuel to the injectors before tightening the lines.
What else should be done before attempting to start it?

Re:Unleaded Cummins!
The same thing happened to my truck a few years back when my son used it. Some not so bright gas station attendant pumped gas into the tank. To make a long story short, I went after the gas station and their insurance company ponied up to have the fuel pump and the injectors taken apart, checked and reassembled.

In addition to what he is doing, I would also add a good dose of fuel conditioner to the diesel.
---
Al
Re:Unleaded Cummins! HELP!
Sounds like you just used -up the remaining fuel in the pump, lines, injectors, and cylinders. Try bleeding the system again. If it still won't start, have the fuel pressure, at the injectors, tested.
