You need to check for codes. Pretend you are going to start the truck but don't start. Do this three times, after third time leave key on and write down codes from your odometer. It should flash codes for pcm and ecm if there are any. Let us know what you find. Good luck.

That's the "companion" code, meaning there is another code, most likely in the ECM.
Key on/off trick, as well as most off the shelf code readers only talk to the PCM, and rely on it to relay the codes stored in the other computers, including the ECM.
You most likely have a code that can only be retrieved with the high end DRB code reader, Dealership item.

Did you wait for both pcm and ecm codes? Also I've read other threads where people have taken their rigs to Auto Zone and they will pulled the codes. If you know somone with OBD2 scanner it will work also. I would try to avoid dealer--- cost to much! If you can't find auto zone try a good Diesel shop in your area. If we knew what the other code was we could help more. Keep us informed.
