Truck Shakes above 55

I have a friend with a Y2k 2500 V10. Has installed new ball joints and had the front end completely checked out and aligned. no other front end issues. He bought new wildcat tires from LS. After 3,000 miles the truck started shaking every time he goes over a bridge (bump) of hits bumps in road. He had the tires rebalanced and front end rechecked but no noticable problems uncovered. Anyone have any ideas where to go next???

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

If the front end is completely checked out, and the tires have been balanced, and pressure checked, that doesn't leave much.

If the tires are suspect, rotate them front to back. Maybe a belt shift at 55 is to blame?

Ill try not to be dogmatic but it still is the tire ballance...the big ones are hard to get right esp. if they are not spun on a machine. On top of that they change in shape (and ballance) with speed.

It doesn't mention tire/rim size, but large tires and offset rims could case the A-arms to deflect on bumps.

Has happened on my truck twice, hit bumps over 55 and truck starts shaking and shimming terrible. Both times it was the torque bar. The auto/suspention shop that I had it fixed at said this was quite common problem in the dodge. I would check into it, sounds just like the problem I had.

Thanks everyone for the ideas, It appears that the shocks went out on the truck.
