truck has a miss
Coming home today on the highway and running 70 at about 2400rpm the truck felt like it stalled or missed real hard. Hit the throttle and it took off and ran fine. Then a few minutes later it did it again. What's up? I just bought this one last week, and took it to the diesel shop, they checked for codes and checked the fuel pressure, everything was O.K. I have only driven 200 miles since I bought it and this is the first time it has done anything weird. No gauges yet.

One of the trucks I drive at work has done something similar to me, It's a 97 peterbilt with a cat motor, but it has stalled momentarily and immediately came back to life and ran fine. The cause was a bad relay to the shut off solenoid, I'm not sure if this could be your problem but it is worth looking into. Good luck.
