Well last night on the way home my trans was acting up. When the trans shifts into OD and the TC should lock the RPM's go up a little (Slipping or TC not locking?) and and then it grabs fine. This morning on my way to work it was worse. The trans would do the same as listed before but it would do it a couple of time before it would grab. This only happens in city driving conditions. All is normal when I pour on the oil to merge onto the freeway. I checked the fluid (nuetral and running) Pink and clean smelling. What are my chances that it is something simple??(cheap) I will wait before to hear from the trans experts before I start tearing into it. Thanks

Governor pressure solenoid, bad tranny ground for OD or TC lockup, lousy OEM shift programming....

The bad ground could be it. It was raining this morning and it was worse than yesterday. No rain on the way home today and it wasnt as bad. I think it is the TC locking and unlocking.

Is the Gov Solinoid a easy fix if it isnt the ground?

yes, pull the trans pan and it's right there.
probably should learn how to adjust the bands and do that while your in there too.
