Tranny only uses 2nd and 3rd
Tranny will not use 1st gear or overdrive, TC will not lockup either, even with a TC lockup switch installed. if i put truck in 1st still starts in 2nd. Fluid is good color and looks to be at a good level even though its hard to read the dipstick. Truck did this a few months ago, i checked fluid and it was low, added a quart and didnt fix. Woke up next morning and truck was fine.

I didn't read the threads above but it sounds like your governor transducer/solenoid. Mined would start out in 2nd or 3rd and then not shift through the gears. Be sure and replace them in pairs (just what I've heard) and they cost me @ $250 at the dealer.

I blinked out codes using the "turn key on and off method". I got codes 12, 43 and 47. What is code 43 its not listed in my shop book. My buddy has a code reader would that be a better choice to use? My problem sounds a lot like the other post in here "tranny acting up" can anyone tell me if the part numbers i need are the same as his? Governor Pressure Solenoid - 4617210 Transducer - 56028196AD Trans pan seal - 2464324AC Trans Filter - 52118789 Any idea if these parts are readily available or will they take a few days to get?

Using Jambbii's SN. Pulled codes w/ a reader. Had a code about bad tranny relay. Pulled out my jumper that i made for the TC lockup switch and put my tranny relay back in. Truck runs fine now. Could it be a bad jumper or misplaced one for the converter lockup?
Thanks
