tranny cooler line leak near radiator
Hello all-
i've only been to this site a few times now in the past few months and have found this site so informative! As a new owner of a '93 D250 club cab 2wd/at, I have had most of my questions answered just by visiting your site!
However, I know this isn't a big deal, but I have a leak coming from the tranny line going to the radiator that has apparently been rubbing on the drain wing nut on the radiator for the past 10 years. I was wondering where I could/should go to find a replacement hose setup for this pressureline hose. Any info would be most appreciated. Many, many thanks for all your help just by reading your info.

I had the exact same problem a couple months ago. Go get youself a piece of soft copper pipe and 4 hose clamps. Put the pipe in the hose and 2 clamps on each end. Tighten them down good and put some type of insulation around it, so it doesn't happen again. That was a pee poor place to run that line. And also that metal T that is crimped on the lines is hollow in the middle, so you can't cut it out, like I iwas going to do. Not a hard job to fix, kinda messy though.
I would recommend getting to it right away. You don'don't realize how much fluid that tranny can pump out of a small hole while driving. And you never know when that small hole will get big and you won't know it.
