Torque converter unlock
Recently while driving the highway my torque converter unlocked every time I hit a big bump, such as a bridge approach or rough patch. I was wondering if this could be caused by the brake switch and pedal having a bit of play in them from use? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

try putting a plastic tie stap on your petal arm to take up the slack where the switch hits it. if that fixes it, i would say the switch is worn.Mine did the same thing after towing a trailer.

Try keeping your foot or toe under the brake pedal and then go over the bumps, if it still does it, look into cleaning your tps. Do a search on spliting it or drilling it and spray cleaning it and readjusting it. Goodluck,,Rick

Thanks for all the help folks. No it isn't popping out of cruise, the cruise hasn't worked since I got the truck. Yes, the lockup disengages if you hit a big bump.
