super sludge in oil...
a terrible thing happend and i thought i'd run it by you guys to see if someone has any suggestions.
my grandpa, with his eyesight what it is, put concentrated roundup (yes roundup) in the crank case the other day. the bottles justs got mixed up.
let me tell you it's turning into a doozie. it ran for a bit then the next day the engine wouldn't hardly turn over and there was no oil pressure. i pulled the pan and the mix turned into a sorta like super sludge. more like super-dooper sludge. it was so thick it plugged the pick up tube.
my question is does anyone know of a flush or solvent to disolve super sludge? i tried diesel and gas which didn't do hardly anthing. the best thing i found was carb cleaner.

I've used Valvoline Pyroil Engine Flush from Napa to clean out diesel engines sludged up from using gasser motor oil.
Don't know how well it works on herbicides though.
Big problem with Roundup will be the soap like adjuvants used as a sticker/spreader.
Beware with flushing out any engine is that you might flush away sludge that was sealing leaks.
