Serging problem with an 02 chevy LB7

A friend of mine just came to me with a problem. When his truck is idling it the rpms sounds like they are raising a little. He has an edge on it. I told him the first thing he needs to do is disconnect it to see if that is the problem.

Any other advice sure would be appreciated.

if memory serves me correctly, it's the fuel solenoid... when i was looking at chevy's this seemed to be a common problem in the earlier Dmax's... you/he needs to do some reading on the chevy sites
