runs and dies
Running fine 2003 ram 3500 6spd dually. starts fine runs for about 10 to 13 seconds dies. Will restart does the same thing will accelerate and die but will restart. Was running fine, happened all of a sudden. When key is cycled shows p o477 code and says done. Has new Cummings fuel filter and full of fuel w/ 1 bottle of power service outside temp is about 27', does not appear to be jelling. Was told that code os a Exhaust pressure control unit, will this effect my runniing issue. Couldn't happen at a worst time being sunday 01/11/09 am planning to pickup new trailer 01/15/09.

The code is what you suspect, low exhaust pressure.
Low exhaust pressure is from lack of fuel.
Reach under the CP and feel for any leakage between the body and the front and back plates. I would suspect the O-rings are blown if you have not had the fix done to solve that problem.
If the CP is not leaking, then I would suspect the Cascade Overflow Valve has picked up a very small chunk of ice, or the FCA has ice.
My first pass would be to take a hot air gun (a hair dryer will also work), and heat the CP to the point it is warm to the touch. Not hot, just warm to the touch. Then start it and get the fuel circulating and any ice out of the system.
You may need to put some isopropyl alcohol based fuel treatment in the fuel tank to dissolve any ice on the intake screen. Heet is one such brand, just get the version for diesels.
