Ride difference in a 2500 & 3500?

I have a chance for a great deal on an 06 megacab 3500. Can anyone tell me how much of a difference in ride quality smoothness there is in the 2500 & the 3500. The one Im looking at has the single rear wheels, and 4 wheel drive. Diesel of course. Im waiting to get confirmation on my financing. I need to know SOON!!
Thanks
Craig

Unloaded I don't think there is any difference in ride quality.

The 3500 SRW's only difference is a set of overload springs that only make contact with their perches when there's like 1,200 or 1,500 pounds in the bed. When you get up over 2000 pounds in the bed, it levels out the truck nicely.

Unless you live in one of the states that charges significantly higher registration for the heavier rated vehicles, the SRW 3500 is pretty nice. It's not much more than a 2500, but is rated for heavier legal weight.
