return line postion?

I am having my friend rebuild my manual transmission today. While the tranny is out I am going to change the rubber fuel lines. Will I be able to access the return line where it meets the steel line easily with the tranny removed?

Thanks....

Are you installing biodiesel-compatible lines?

Line

I purchased the line from Napa. My local Cummins shop said it is the same line that they would purchase. The fuel line is called Weatherhead H10105 350 PSI MSHA IC-46/6. Any ideas if this is correct??

return line

Can some please point out where the return line meets the rubber fuel line? I follow the return line from the overflow valve but can not see where it meets the rubber line?

Thanks...

It meets about 2" forward of the fuel filter against the block.
Easiest to get at if you remove the filter.

Thanks Infidel. I was able to change it without removing the fuel filter. New supply and return hoses are in. I made up longer rubber hose to get ride of the braided lines and push lock connectors. Truck is still idleing a little rough after new lift pump, 80 HP injectors, new overflow valve and now new rubber lines.. Are their rubber lines back by the tank?

Thanks....
