Replacing 2004 hub assembly

Two weeks ago my left front wheel bearing went out on my 2004 Duallie . Now the right side needs replacement . I don't intend to let Damlier/Chrysler continue getting into my pockets because they choose to use shoddy sealed bearings . Are there quality aftermarket replacements available for 3500 front wheel hub assemblies ?

I cant imagine not using the warranty....after all you paid for the warranty. Why not make them replace the hubs until your off warranty??....then, you can install whatever you want.

News flash - Ford/Dodge/Chevy 4x4's all use sealed bearing/hub assembly, so it doesn't do any good to complain about D/C alone. Is your warranty up? There probably are not any aftermarket parts yet for an 04 other than filters and such.

Dealer claims parts are not under warranty . Neither was pinion seal that went out 10,000 miles ago . This truck runs over 2,000 miles a week and has an oil and filter change and tire rotation every 2 weeks . An alignment is done every other rotation .Differential and transmission oil were changed at 30,000 and 60,000 - all but 2 services at the same dealer .

How many miles is on it?? Unless you have huge miles on it, those parts, including the seal should be covered under the powertrain warranty. You better check your manual or other documentation to see what is covered and have a serious chat with the service manager

Dealers that will not cover warranty items should be reported to DC....and they should be punished

One bearing went out at 65,000 , the other at 70,000 . I've learned this is a rare occurence on a Ram which is why parts were not in stock . I will check on the warranty.
