Pcu 1693
2001 2500
Has a banks high ram and some gauges but otherwise stock. Some loss of power from time to time, slow power , or low boost. but then 30lb of boost most of the time. Pcu 1693. only shows overboost on scanner. IP?

The 30 psi boost you report is well beyond what a stock motor will produce.
If the fuel system is stock, you have no chips installed, and the wastegate is not blocked, then your injection pump is failing to roll the timing properly. That may result in higher than normal fueling levels and can allow you to run your boost up beyond stock levels.
The loss of power from time to time is generally the bypass valve in the lift pump sticking open. What that does is cut the fuel available to the injection pump and results in power losses. This also damages the injection pump. But, it can also be a failing delivery valve in the injection pump.
Given that you have symptoms of a failing injection pump, I would do a fuel pressure test on the lift pump, then check to be absolutely certain the wastegate is functioning, and if good at both those points it will be time to start considering a good rebuilt injection pump.
