I have two codes that keep poppin up and need suggestions before spending money on sensors. Both codes started poppin up at the same time it justseems weird they would both go outat the same time. Suggestions needed!! One is for the map sensor voltage too high too long and the other is the iat sensor performance

It's a dual purpose sensor, measures boost pressure and intake air temp. Make sure connector plug is pushed in all the way until it locks. If it is then most likely just a bad sensor.

So the sensor on theintake manifold is dual purpose what about theone on the intake tubeby the airfilter

That is ambient air temp and pressure sensor that is also dual purpose depending on year. The 6.7 engine uses a Mass air flow sensor along with ambient temp and pressure. The sensor in the intake manifold is map sensor or some call boost pressure sensor. It also measures air temperature.

Ok that helps I thoughtit was two different sensors I will go take a look this all started after trying out a boost fooler but thanks for all the help

The ECM looks at both sensor temps but cycles heaters according to intake temperature during warmup in cold weather.
