P0234 and won't start - COLD OUTSIDE! Gelled Fuel?
2002 Ram 2500 Diesel, truck left outside overnight (5 degrees F) and this morning it won't start. Heater cycled, engine cranked and fired-up for about 3 seconds, then died. Odometer read codes P1693, P0234, ECU, DONE. Scanned the ECU with OBDII reader and retrieved P0234. 3 repeated attempts to start yield block heater cycle, cranking, but no fire. I'm wondering if the diesel could be gelled and starving the engine? It's warming-up later this week (mid-40's F) - wondering if I should just let her sit until it's above freezing for a day and then try again. The lift pump is original, no gauge (). Thanks for any advice fellas...

I would try to ask a friend/relative if you can park truck inside their heated garage for a day, you will find out if you were gelled or not. You can also remove fuel filter, gelling is very visible. Be sure your batteries are full and in good conditions.
Next step will be getting a fuel pressure gauge and check your pump, chances are if it gelled slightly you might have damaged the little left of the OEM stock pump
You can add up to 20% of kerosene to your fuel and have no problem, it's better than 911

Was gelled - started-up once it warmed-up!
Thanks for the help guys - she started right up once the weather warmed-up! Filled the tank and added some anti-gel and we're off and running (plowing, actually)...
