oil leaking from turbo

when I pulled my engine I had to take my turbo off too, when I put everything back together I found the oil leaking from the turbo right where the oil return line is. Is there a gasket that you put on the oil return line and the turbo so that it will not leak oil and if so where can I get one?

If you want to buy one, you could try Dodge, cummins or any diesel supply store. Just take in the old one for size. If you want to make one, use some good gasket material, available at most good parts stores, and punch in the drain hole first, then the two bolt holes, then trim the excess off the outside. If you use silicone on the gasket, only wipe a small amount on the gasket so the excess does not oose inside the drain back hole and restrict the return oil flow.

Ok when I took the turbo off I didnt see a gasket anywhere, and it was very hard to take off, the oil return line was stuck on the turbo pretty good.

The old gasket may be stuck to one of the surfaces. Scrape it clean so the new gasket seals better.

I know dodge has the gasket, only like $1.50 sometimes they have them in stock some times they don't. I have used the black permatex with no problem before, but I prefer to use a gasket.

The gasket is there, it's just baked rock-hard. I use a blade out of a utility knife, plain razor blades just snap when you push them hard enough to chip the gasket off. As others have said, you can get the gasket cheap from Dodge.
