nv5600 fluid change, pto cover?
i just looked under my truck to change some fluids, for the transmissin do i need to just take one of the pto covers off or just take a bolt out? im also guessing that the pto cover is the metal plate with 6 bolts in it. also can you fill it back up thru the top bolt hole?

There are a few threads on the furom on it. I did the job by pulling the lower bolt to drain the fluid. I removed the cover to look inside for residual metalics and gear wear. When I filled it I went through the fill port that is to the right of the PTO cover (from drivers side). NV5600 on mine.

Pull the PTO cover as there is a little magnet sitting in the bottom of the housing. May as well clean the metal off while you are changing the fluid.
Just RTV the cover.
