No OD, after shift kit.

Installed a Transgo shift kit today. Test drive, no OD. codes are;
37: Open or short in the Torque converter clutch solenoid CKT circuit or
Voltage high or low at transmission Temperature sensor
45: An open or shorted condition detected in the overdrive solenoid circuit

Tried changing trans relay, no change.

Just grant me 10 minutes with the moronic engineer who designed the park rod assembly

The OD and TCC solenoids are side by side inside the trans, so I'm sure you had to remove them when you took the VB out. My guess is that they weren't hooked back up when the VB was reinstalled, or the wiring harness got pinched somehow. Just like the code says, open or short detected. Either they aren't plugged in or they are pinched inside the VB somewhere. Good Luck

Update; The guy who put it back together "forget" to plug in the harness Unfortunately, I had the pan back off, and the linkage disconnected, when I reached up to unplug the wires. I told myself to check the connections before I took everything back apart, but I never listen, just ask my wife.

I'm sticking with my "paid for" 12 valve as long as possible. Even if I do have a little glitch from time to time, I can still fix most of it myself (sometimes on the 2nd or 3rd try )
