No accelerator pedal
I need help with an acceleration problem. I had to go rescue my brother last night because his truck will not accelerate. He has a 2003 2500 HO and he was towing a small travel trailer. Going to hunting camp, he was going up a steep grade and the check engine light came on and response at the accelerator peddle was gone. He shut it off, let it cool down and made it to the top of the hill. They stopped, ate dinner and were able to make it to camp another 100 miles no problem. Coming home yesterday it did the same thing again, but cannot get it to reset again. The truck will start and idle fine, but you can push the peddle all the way to the floor with no response. I am hoping someone can suggest a fix, even if it is temporary, so that we don't have to tow it 150 miles home. Any help would be greatly appreciated

did you look at the throttle linkage?
Im sorry, but I dont even know if that year has a mechanical linkage,
same symptoms on mine, but the linkage had broken off, just duct taped the arms together, got me back
