Need to get this track bar on before work

Hi Guys

I started taking thetrack bar off and something let go and the front end dropped. I realize this is a little after the fact but are you suppose to take the weight off the front end when removing the track bar and if so where do you lift it? I'm also havin a little trouble with the ball joint. Usually I just smack em with a hammer and the slide apart but that aint workin with this one. Any suggestions?

I did not take the weight off of mine when i changed track bars, i used a long bar down through the wheel well to knock the ball end loose , and had someone turn the steering wheel to line everything back up when i put it on.
