Exclamation Major Help needed in Alexandria, LA

Hubby stuck on the side of interstate 49. Trailer blew a tire and destroyed the rim. He has no spare. He needs a 6 lug rim/tire for a 5200lb axle. Or transportation to one. aim: crazymopargirl

Sorry been looking for a trailer place open today. no luck, Its a 28' loaded car hauler. Tire blew, destroyed the rim, ruined the U-bolts, so I need new U-bolts rim/tire, and hopefully not a spring as well.

Wish I could help!

Meanwhile, how did the tire destroy the rim?
Did you run over something?

trailer tires sukk!!! If you are pulling any distance at all from where you are fubar'ed I would highly recommend replacing the tire on the axle that didn't blow also. Once one goes out you put quite a shock on the other. I blew out a 2 yr old low mile carlisle in vegas last month so I'm shopping for a whole set now. They do make a 225/75/15 in an "E" rating so you may want to pursue that angle. I'm hoping to upgrade to 16" wheels on my 5200lb 6 lug axles. Seems that they last a bit longer in those sizes from my research on the subject.

No prob. It looks like the valve stem split as I was driving. So it leaked went flat and then chewed the rim. I always make a lap and check all the tires each time I stop. So it went flat after I started driving ~3hrs. Hoping the trailer place has what I need Monday morning.
