Installed a headunit. Now keyless entry doesn't work + headlight issue
Well anyways, this is the second head unit I'm putting into my truck, and the first install went pretty smoothly. Now onto this one.
Well anyways first and foremost the radio works.
Now I used to be able to turn my headlights on when the key was out of the ignition. Now I need the key in the ignition for them to turn on. Now once I get them started, and turn the key to the warm up position the needles jump to 60mph and back down again.
Then my keyless entry does not work, and none of the door locks will open or close.

I am not sure what a head unit is, but if you were fooling with the wiring while the negative battery cables were still connected you may have corrupted the BCM, ECM or PCM.
Disconnect the negative battery cables then turn on your headlights and the key and take a break. When you return, turn everything off and reconnect the negative cables and give it a try. The problem will likely go away.
