I gotta get going Help Trans wont shift, abs light and brake on
I have a Dodge 2500 4x4 with a 5spd automatic trans.
I may have two problems ...I dont know
My ABS light came on and so did the brake light...
Then the trans wont shift unless I take it out of drive rolling and put it back in to take it from 1st to 2nd and so on.
It will shift right after start and go through gears only once then the problem starts.
I have been told I need to fix grounds, do rear speed sensors etc
What would cause the ABS light AND brake light AND trans not to shift?
Please email me at xcomandos@verizon.net...I need my truck and cant afford to take it to a dealer...for me no truck ...no income HELP!

I don't know what year of ram you have to get a 5 speed auto , they were all 3 speeds with overdrive up until now?
What year is your truck also , that will help us denote which transmission you actually do have.
With that said , all of those things can be caused by a bad speed sensor on a 47 or 48 RE transmission.
