Houston, we have a tranny problem

Call up DTT and ask them. Sounds kinda like a solenoid crapped out on ya. Considering the miles and strain you put on it, I'm surprised you haven't had any other problems with it.

BBD, I'm just trying to think logically here, as I'm not any kind of transmission mechanic. If you had lost line pressure, or a solenoid, I wouldn't think that you could achieve any kind of lock-up. Because you can "manually" lock up the TC with the switch, I would think that the problem is either electrical, or electronic.

Since you can lock it with a manual switch, the problem is not in the trans.
I could be a connection/APPS/computer/ or brake switch.
I would start at your manual switch and check connections.
