Houston...we have a problem.
Decided to go out and clean up the old dodge today and after cleaning the engine and going on a quick warm up before checking the tranny I found.....

where the #3 injector line goes in, there is diesel weeping out from around the base where the line is threaded into the block. Is this an o-ring or something gone bad or what. Is it something I can fix myself. And yes it is tight.

Happy Thanksgiving.

Re:Houston...we have a problem.
The 19 mm injector line nut might be loose. The torque on the nut is what keeps the end of the injector line tight to one end of the fuel supply tube which in turn keeps the other end of the fuel supply tube tight to the injector body.

I know it is tight but you need to check the torque. The spec on these is 28 ft lbs.

You may have to disconnect the fuel tube from the injector slide it back and rotate it and then reinstall it. Check the torque before you do that and make sure that's correct. As a last fix, you could have to replace the tube going to the injector. Right now though, it sounds like that 19mm nut is your problem.
