Mike, you can buy the boost fooler from HTT or II. You can also go to radio shack and buy some 100ohm resistors (I think it was 5 for $2) cut the harness on the turbo side of the connector 2" back. Solder the resistor in and cover it with heat shrink and zip tie it to the harness down there so it does not rattle around. The factory sensor shows about 90 ohms at rest but varies with boost. If you just install a jumper wire it has no resistance and will show boost codes. Go to autozone and have them clear the codes for free and all should be well. When you hooked the harness for the tst up backwards it would have set a lot of codes if you tried to start it like that. The 0148 usually shows up with downloaders but has not caused problems. Call me tonight if you need to. Tim

I am having my wife pick up the resistors for me. Do I have to solder them on or can I just press them into the female connectors on the truck side plug? If I can just do that them I will tape the crap out of them so I don't have to worry about it.

solder would be the best... use some adhesive lined shrink tubing to resist moisture intrustion for prolonged life of the connection. and then package up that htb2 and send to POC: 2-stroke

Sorry this new truck is giving you a headache buddy - you will soon be ontop of things and dropping 500 and looking for more! Goodluck, wish I knew of your problems to help further.

Nope! I decided I'm going to just put a moderate box on it to help towing and that's it!The TST and MP-8 are off and not going back on, I don't think......
I also don't have a soldering gun so I may take the cheap way out and just press the resistor ends into the female plugs and waterproof it somehow.....

Good for you.

Sell off that crazy stuff and keep it reasonable. The truck will thank you.
