Lightbulb Hino FD 500 Series 2008

Hi, Can someone help, please?I don't know how else to describe it but I'll be driving my truck and the engine seems to cut out for a split second at any speed while my foot is on the throttle, and then continues to run normally. It never stalls, it just has a hiccup. I can't really tell what makes it happen. Seems like an instant of fuel starvation or ignition blip but it happens so fast, I can't figure what's doing it. It will do this maybe once or twice in a day of driving.I greatly appreciate any input on what this may be.
Greetings from Queensland, Australia 🇦🇺

Welcome to the forum! I do not know what the rig is that you are taking about, but the Cummins diesel has a FSS, fuel shutoff solenoid, that activates a plunger that shuts off fuel flow, in order to shutdown the engine It is not uncommon for it to have a loose connection and cause the symptoms that you describe. It requires 12 volts to keep the fuel flowing and and intermittent shutdown or partial shutdown happens when the connection is loose, hope this helps...Mark edit: Here is a google search of forums that may help you

I had something like that on my '03 years ago. It got progressively worse over a hundred or two miles till it felt like a miss in a gasser. I pulled the injectors and had them tested and rebuilt by F1. Ran great ever since. IIRC, it had about 150k miles on it when it happened, sold it at 298k miles.
Back to morning brew . . .
