Help injectors turning in head!!!!
I went to pull the injectors in my 97 12v tonight to clean them and put different hold down nuts on them to hopfully fix the fuel leak i had. Well when i went to hook up the #3 return bolt i noticed the injector was turned about 50 degrees. So i pulled it and found out i can turn the injector about 90* total. There is a groove cut in the head by the ball and i really dont know what to do.
The only thing i can come up with is to fill the cut groove in with JB weld and let it harden, then hopfully when i tighten the injector it will not turn and i can then get the return line hooked up. If that does not sound good can i just block off the return line holes in the injectors with a bolt, or something so i could eliminate the return line?
And worse comes to worse where is a good place to get a 12v cylinder head cheap?
Thanks in advance
Rick

Use a wrench to hold the injector in place when you tighten it. You may need a crow's foot wrench to tighten the injector, and it may take you a few tries to get it right. You cannot eliminate the return line, the injector will not work without it. Don't go gobbing JB Weld in the hole.
