Front & Rear diff fluids

After you reattach the diff covers, from removing them completely, how soon can you refill the diffs. I'm concerned with the curing time of the RTV. What are the negative aspects of the little chips of RTV floating around in the gears, if any? I'm guessing they are just soft little pieces and will eventually get chewed up into nothing. Or...?

Thanks

When i do mine as soon as its bolted back together i fill it up wich takes a few minutes, andits all good. When i put the locker in i rtved it filled and jumped in it to drive it around and go home. Never had a leak or hint of silicone inside my diffs.

Dont worry about it. Anything that goes in there wont hurt anything. Just make sure you use some good sealant you dont want any leaks.
