We all had to learn at some time. I went to school for this stuff & I still occasionally refer to that thing that connects to this thing. ;-)
I'm just glad to hear ya found the problem.
BTW, an FSM would be a wise investment.

EEWWW!!!! That bearing has a little wear on it, huh? Lucky the tire didn't come off on the road. I am not sure on that model, but if it is that kind of design, make sure the spindle is ok when you get it off. I have a 2x4, so I don't know much about these, but some front ends you just have to replace the whole thing instead of the way I am thinking.

Don't misconstrue this as advice, merely saying EEEWWWWW!!! that bearing is toast!

what is weird is it was fine no noise it didnt pull or anything then i was on the freeway and boom there it went. shouldn't the bearing give some sort of warning before it tears apart

got the parts i needed order come to find out it is called a front hub assembly and the bearings in it are not serviceable meaning i have to buy the whole thing at 301 bucks a piece. i can not just replace the bearings in it ill have them by friday. Thanks to all who helped me on here i love this web site..

gotta love those hub bearings.
sometimes you can find ones with limetime replacement warranties

I've heard of a 95 lifted 1500 ram 4x4 going 75mph down the freeway and the front drivers side wheel just coming off the truck and going underneath the front axle. The truck just skidded to a stop.... what a lucky sun of a gun.

I wish i had the time to look for ones i have already missed 2 days of work because it went out and had to borrow my moms jeep to get to work til friday (its not bad because its got a HEMI in it) my truck is my only car i am thinking about getting a beater just in case something like this happens again
