Front End Popping Noise

Just yesterday my truck started making a popping noise when turning right or left. This is occuring at slow speed, 3/4 to full right or full left turns, is very inconsistent (no regular rhythm), and is coming from the left front wheel area. Is this my front drive shaft U joints, or is it the Ujoints on the axle ends, or something totally different (ball joints)? If it is the ujoints can they be lubed, or are they probably too far gone? I have no clue how or where to start. I will try to get it off the ground today and look for any loose stuff. Any help or suggestions would greatly appreciated.

Could be ball joints, a wheel bearing, tie rods, or a track bar.

Bad front axle u joints, bad ball joints, and bearings replaced while at it. Should be good for another 100,000.
