Front brake rotors

How do I remove the Front Rotors? 95 standard cab 4x4 automatic and
gvwr 8800lbs. I took the Axle nut off but couldnt get the rotor off. I didnt see anything else I could do. Do I need a puller or something?

You have to remove the calipers and the four bolts behind the wheel that hold the unit bearing. The bolts need a 12 point socket, the calipers a 3/8" allan.

Then the fun begins, the rotor may or may not be rusted to the axle. Take much care not to pull the axle out, you can damage the seal. Easiest way to get a rusted on rotor off is to tighten the large nut back up, screw one of the four rear bolts back in not quite all the way, put a socket with extension on the bolt wedged to the differential housing, start engine and turn the steering wheel till you hear a loud pop.

If you don't have the large nut tight the bearing may come apart costing you big bucks.
