Extension housing seal

Extension housing seal

has anyone ever had to replace their extension housing seal on the back of their transfer case where the driveshaft for the rear wheels goes in. I have a leak there and have to put one in tonite if possibel any help is appreciated i forgot to say it is a 2000 dodge 2500 4x4

After drive shaft if out , pry seal out with screw diver , drive in new one with light blows from small hammer , so you do not colaps it , make sure to drive in evenly / side to side , and put a little lube on seal as to not burn up .
