egt gauge install issues
got my isspro gauges yesterday and hooked up the boost, works great
then this morning i drilled and tapped the manifold installed the thermocouple and hooked everything up but get no reading at all on the gauge.
only thing not hooked up is the lighting... is this necessary for the gauge to work? my brother has all of the wiring connectors in his car so i cant hook up the lighting for a couple hours.
ground is good.
when disconnecting and reconnecting the positive the gauge will move slightly then go right back to the bottom.
what is going on? gauge bad? thermocouple bad?

It looks like there is a power supply and ground for the gauge to work besides the lighting power supply. Just reading the below PDF. I did Autometer myself and it doesn't work without power either.
