Did I Blow my Head Gasket Again or Worse?

I had my truck down at truck fest on Sunday in Denver and it wasn't running how I thought it would on the track but seemed to drive perfectly fine on the way home. I had to do a 900 mile trip yesterday, 450 of that with an 8k trailer and I noticed when I put the trailer on it was getting VERY hard to build any boost whatsoever (could only do it around 2200rpm) so I drove 60-65mph all the way from Rock Springs WY to Fort Collins CO with very high EGT's. When I popped the hood this morning and started to look around with the motor on I noticed that if I hit the throttle lever that black smoke poured out the passenger side of the #4 cylinder area. I just did an O-Ring, Marine Head Gasket, 60lb Valve Springs, and studs less than 2 months ago with all three re-torques done properly. There was a very small loss in coolant, Maybe .5 ltr and oil seems fine. What did I do????

I would check the #4 Exhaust manifold gasket first. if you blew a head gasket you would not see black smoke there would not be enough compression for combustion

Also, make sure you did not crack the exhaust manifold.

I would bet that it is external whatever the problem is.

Then find out what is causing your low boost ( torn IC boot, loose clamp, etc. )

If your leaking exhaust out of the manifold, your not going to have the drive pressure to spin the turbo. You would be amazed how much a small exhaust leak will kill boost.

X2 on JFlory's post. I clean forgot figuring the crack or gasket was a result of the EGTs not the cause.....

K, well you two are possibly right. I am pretty sure the exhaust housing on my top turbo cracked or is leaking somehow. While I have to drive to tulsa in the other vehicle my buddy is going to try and fix this
