Dead On The Side Of The Road
I have a 98.5 Dodge cummins. Going down the road the truck shut off. Tried to start with no luck. With my programmer I read the error codes.
1. DTC detected in companion JTEC module.
2. Internal fuel injection pump controller failure.
3. ECM fueling calibration error.
4. Fuel valve open circuit.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry to hear about your truck!
DTR Member "blackdiesel" is right. Your VP-44 Fuel Pump is shot! I know because I put two of them on my 2002 Dodge CTD 24 valve with some of the same codes you now have. Hit some of the banner advertisers on this site and they should be able to get a pump out to you.
Good luck.

Just wanted to say you guys were right. Added a new injection pump,Fass fuel system and a new ATS manifold. I guess with 188,000 thats not too bad for my first parts. Know I'm thinking about new injectors. Whats your thoughts on aftermarket injectors which ones are the best?

I got it fixed and it wasn't as expensive as I anticipated. $1618.68 ain't as cheap as some, but it beat sitting on the side of the road in the heat until something better came along. That also included a cracked bracket that was almost in half. The local Dodge boys wanted $2600+.
