I am a fan of the factory intank upgrade for the lift pumps, heck it's the same pump that started comming out in the 2005's , and i have yet to see one of them fail. I don't know the cost comparison between the fass and the dc pumps but the dodge ones retail for 588.00 canadian, although I could sell ya one for a lot less.

Hoser, if you do a search on this and other similar sites - youll see that the intank pump isnt the answer. It makes NO sense to me why DC would "engineer" their "Lift Pump fix" by putting the lift pump in the tank. The fass or somthing similar is a much better option - and many guys here would agree with that statement.

The intank pump have little pressure compared to the old style. Not to mention when it does fail are you going to drop a tank or lift a bed???

I'm going to do neither... I'm going to mount a LP on the frame back by the fuel tank so I never have to worry about being stuck somewhere...

Not trying to change the subject, but can a person leave the stock pump in position and working and add a fass pump to it?
