Have you crimped the tube any where?

I did bend it one time but then rerouted and i dont know if the crimp ruined the hose or nor. , i took a small piece and bent it and then straightened it out and it seemed fine???

If you're trying to get boost while sitting still and reving the engine, you won't see any.

Get on the road, and stomp on the loud pedal.
If you're not seeing Boost while on the road, you have a blockage, or a massive leak.

Do you have compressed air? Reduce it to 25 PSI and try to pressurize the system to test your set up. Don't use full pressure, if you can't regulate it don't do use compressed air.

Did you over tighten the connections and collapse the tubing?

I would start with finger tight and then 1/4 turn more with a wrench. Just enough to seal it, no more. The object is to make it seal and stop.

Geico266 has it correct for the tightening in those connects.
This is an instance where more isn't better.

Question

Well i found a crimp and that fixed it when i put a new hose on. The question is these readings, I can cruise at 60 and only have about 4-5 lbs boost. if i get on it it will go up to 35 and then settle back down to 3-5 do these #s sound right for a stock 05

Sounds like a winner.

That 35 pound boost seems high for a stock truck.
But it looks like it's working properly.

Wink

Thanks for the help guys. Now i am waiting on my quadzilla tow box for my trip to yellowstone in june, i will be pulling a 35" toy hauler with 2 harleys in the back, and i think i have covered all the bases my wallet will allow at this time. Next up when i get back will be improved exhaust and intake. Roger
