antifreeze leak
hey guys
i have a antifreeze leak that getting bigger, it seems to be coming from under the alternator, somewhere,
i read a post in the 3rd gen forum about the block heater getting loose. does this sound like the problem?
i dont know where the block heater is located exactly,
any replies would greatly appreciated

Sounds like probably your water pump is leaking, it is right there. Better look real good for the bleed hole. Heater is also in the general area, but if it is the front of the block it is probably the water pump.

The only cure for that is to change it. Only takes a few minutes, my pump was about $50 from Cummins plus core of course. I have the ISB, assuming it is the same, it is remove the belt, take out two 10mm bolts switch it put it back together, fill it up. Stay away from stop leak, will not help the pump.
