Re:Adjusting throttle Valve Cable
I don't think that you have a TV cable problem. If you do a search you will find info on resetting the apps, electrical noise, etc. What do I know, I have the proper number of valves.

Re:Adjusting throttle Valve Cable
I have reset the apps and it seems to be ok for a half a day or a full day, then it goes back to doing the same thing.I realy dont want to take it in to the steeler also when it shifts out of 1st it shifts into 4th right away at 3000 rpm.

Re:Adjusting throttle Valve Cable
I'll tell you how I did mine. I don't know if it's "right" or not, but it is mechanically sound.
Remove the cover from the throttle mechanism beside the valve cover. You may not actually need to do this, but it will be handy to check the slack.
Take the clip on the TV cable housing loose, taking note of how it went on as it seems to make a difference. This is white and located just behing the throttle mechanism, on the cable housing. Have someone hold the accellerator pedal to the floor, or jam it to the floor with a stick. Pull the back part of the cable housing, behind the throttle mechanism, toward the rear. You may need to pull hard on it, but not so hard you cause other damage. Once you have pulled it tight, pull on the actual cable that goes into it and see if there is any slack. In my cae, I made sure there was little to no slack. Holding the cable housing in place, reinstall the clip on the cable housing. Reinstall the throttle mechanism cover and release the accellerator pedal.
