97 12v, replaced power steering pump, still doesn't work, FIXED.. thanks
97 12v, power steering and brake boost stopped working today. last week pump made a whirling noise, was low on fluid so I topped up fluid. everything went back to normal.
yesterday it made the same whirling noise. only needed to move my truck down driveway. today when out and pump is completely out. no noise at all. no power steering, no brake boost.
chased down reman power steering pump from orielly's.
just finished installing power steering pump, still doesn't work...
what next?

Is it cold where you are? Mine makes noises till warn at freezing temps. Turning wheel back and forth to assist in repriming should have it going. Recheck and top off fluid level with ATF+4 or Mopar PS fluid.
Sometimes have to rev engine up to allow centrifugal force to throw pump vanes out and allow functioning.
