96 12v starts then stalls
Need a little help, went to start my truck today and it started(after cranking for about 15-20 seconds), ran rough for about a minute then quit. It does run a little rough sometimes when it is cooler out, but it always smooths out. I can still get it to start after cranking about 20 seconds at half throttle, but it wont go past 1200 rpms no matter how much i press on go pedal, then it will die. I just drove it thursday and all was fine, did not start or drive it yesterday. I put some fuel and ps cetane boost in it wednesday. Any help or ideas would be appreciated.

Ok, I got it started and running, went out and pulled shut off soelnoid up and it cranked for a few seconds then fired up, i think that i need to pull shut off soelnoid wire off of battery and clean it. But i did have a lot of white smoke when it started, do i need to worry. Drove it down the road and back and it is normal. Hopefully cleaning the corrosion off that wire will help.
