4 wheel drive not engaging
On my 2000 3500 4x4 , I dont think my front end is pulling when I shift into 4 wheel drive. Does anyone know where to start trouble shooting?? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

That has the vaccum disconnect on the front axle doesn't it? Make sure those lines are hooked up at the front axle and check for vaccum, then check the switch on top of the transfer case. It is a vaccum switch, so make sure it has vaccum in!

99% of the time it is a vacuum issue.
Make sure both vacuum lines are connected at the CAD, the little box on the passenger side of the front axle.
If they both are still there, trace them back to the transfer case and see if they are connected there.
If all is good, check the vacuum line that runs along the bottom of the cowl under the hood, it's a commen failure point.
