2nd gen headlamp switch

Already had the switch done once under warranty. Sure enough, this one is going too. This morning, had headlights, no interior.
Will they fix it twice, or at least give me the switch/

They will not give you the switch unless you find a real nice dealer. Yeah right. Good luck.

I wouldnt count on them giving you anything. They know that there is a problem, they just wont stand behind it. Why cant they just build a better switch instead of supplying the same cruddy one?

Either way, You need to do 2 things once you get the new switch.

1. Don't dim you dash lights. When you dim them down, the rheostat gets pretty hot in there, and the theory is that over time it burns the switch up. Some people have drilled a hole in the A/C duct so it will blow cool air on the switch.

2. If you tow alot, take the load of your trailer running lights off the switch by running a seperate 12v line to a toggle switch. This will help.

Good Luck.
