My 06 auto tranny is having the low speed shutter and i saw the post on the selinod change but im also having eratic shifting from 2nd to 3rd at regular driving speed it just takes a second to find the gears it seems to shift in and out several times then it goes and all is well after plane on doing the selinod and pressure switch tommorow what do yall think fluid is alittle discolored but still red plane on filter and fluid at same time.

Ok well just for future reference for all memebers i just dropped 4200 for a new very well built unit yes thats not bad for what all im getting should never have an issue again. found that my band was worn down all the way and was about to go to metal so the only way to fix it is to take the whole unit apart to get to it so total rebuild yup but it had to happen sooner or later so here comes more power and modes cant wait.

I forgot the selinod and switch were the fix but after a day or two started having an issue again with my first to second shift. thought about too much fluid because it wouldnt shift i would have to let off of throtle and it would shift fine. talked with tranny guy at dealer he said it sounded like band adjustment well i thought i would take it to a great shop i know CIRCLE D TRANSMISSION in houston texas glen told me that the band was to worn it had way to much slack in it he showed me he said he would tighten it but also informed me for how much slack there was its gonna need changing soon or it would go metal to metal on the drum and that would throw metal all through the valve body so rebuild with all sorts of upgrades cant wait for my bullet proof tranny.
